Some islands only have cottages on them but this one is where people live year round.
people live on Islands if they don't live in the city and travel by ferry into Oslo.........
One of the many fiordes into and around Oslo....beautiful scenery....as we came into Oslo, we passed a marker which symbolizes the Norwegians sinking a German boat with German Artillery.....the Germans thought the Artillery was obsolete.......we are in 600 feet of water here and the German boat still lies at the bottom..........
Fort which protects the city.........we picked up tour buses beside the fort.......grey skies coming in as katia gets closer as the day wears on.........
